2012 Registration Information


Early-bird registration through June 15 - $30
Allows you to attend Thursday and Saturday social receptions, receive an official Monterey Bay Birding Festival gift, lapel pin, Santa Cruz County Birding and Wildlife Guide, a name badge. All field trips and workshops are priced separately. All workshops are free.

Four-day registration June 16 through September 10 - $40
Allows you to attend Thursday and Saturday social receptions, receive an official Monterey Bay Birding Festival gift, lapel pin, Santa Cruz County Birding and Wildlife Guide, a name badge. All field trips and workshops priced separately. All workshops are free.

One-day registration (Thurs., Fri., or Sat.) - $25
Allows you to attend social reception, receive an official Monterey Bay Birding Festival gift, lapel pin, Santa Cruz County Birding and Wildlife Guide and a name badge. All field trips and workshops are priced separately. All workshops are free.

Evening-only (Thursday, Friday, Saturday) - $10
Allows you to attend social reception Thursday or Saturday and evening featured speaker.

You MUST purchase a registration ticket in order to attend individual activities.

Field trips, workshops, evening speaker fees are separate. If the activity you want is filled, we will have wait list available. First come, first served on all waiting lists.

Register By Mail.
To register by mail, complete the registration form. Print out one form for each person. It is in Adobe Acrobat format and designed to print on letter-size paper. (If you have trouble opening the form, you may need to reset your pop-up blocker to allow it to appear.)

Mail-in reservations will be processed in the order that we receive them, as long as they are postmarked by September 1, 2012. After that date, you may register at the festival, if there are activities still open. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis, so make your choices early in order to avoid missing out on a favorite field trip.
On your mail-in form, please list a second choice for both morning and afternoon events, since field trips have limited space available, and this will expedite your registration. Confirmation will be e-mailed to you.

Whether you register online or by mail, please purchase individual reservations or submit an individual registration form for each participant. No multiple reservations will be accepted.

WALK-IN REGISTRATION:

You may register at the Festival, if activities are not sold out. Registration headquarters is located at the City of Watsonville Civic Plaza, 275 Main Street, Fourth Floor during these hours:

The Festival will maintain a WAITING LIST of events after they are sold out.

PARKING:
Registered Monterey Bay Birding Festival attendees will have access to convenient parking at the Watsonville Civic Plaza Parking Garage. The garage offers free 2-hour parking on Thursday and Friday (parking is free for the day on Saturday and Sunday).

For day users who plan to park longer than two hours on Thursday or Friday, a daily permit can be purchased for $5 from the parking permit machines located on Level 2 of the garage near the elevators.

Entrance to the parking garage is at 260 Rodriguez Street. Parking is available on all levels of the garage with access to the top level (6) via any of the garage elevators. Please drive up to level 6 (the very top) for direct access to the Community Room and the City Council chambers. Pedestrians or attendees not parking in the garage may access the garage elevators from the Second Street entrance. The Main Street lobby entrance of the Civic Plaza building, or Library entrance, may not be available during certain hours of the festival. We strongly encourage attendees to use the Second Street or parking garage stairs or elevators during the events.

Parking permit must be displayed on dashboard and needs to be clearly visible in order to be valid. Vehicles not displaying a permit will be cited for parking beyond the two hours. Park at your own risk. The City of Watsonville is not responsible for damages, lost or stolen items.

Sunday 5:30 A.M. to 7:30 P.M.
Vehicles parked after closing will be locked in the garage overnight or towed

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY:

If you cancel your paid event registration for any reason, the following refund policy will apply:

Cancellations made prior to September 1, 2012 will result in a refund of fees paid, less $20 administrative fees for each registrant. No refunds will be made for cancellations after September 1, 2012, or for no-shows.

The Monterey Bay Birding Festival reserves the right to cancel any event for any reason, and you will receive a full refund for any paid event we cancel.
