Join the Fun as a Volunteer
Becoming a Monterey Bay Birding Festival volunteer has many benefits. Your contribution will help in the Birding Festival’s mission to promote birding education, conservation and ecotourism. You can meet and work directly with some of the most interesting and experienced individuals in the world of birding as well as individuals from our community. You do not have to be an experienced birder. If birding interests you, please take this opportunity to share your time and talents.
We are looking for adults, 18 and older, to volunteer their time to work in the following positions:
- Field trip tour escort
- Grounds & facilities
- Operational management: signage, banners, trash
- Volunteer management: check-in, registration
- VIP hospitality: set up and maintenance of VIP area
- Special services: information booth, guest relations, media services, program
- Marketing: poster distribution, logo sales
- Other opportunities.
We need volunteers to be available for shifts of at least 4 hours.
